A Birthday Party at 4M's Farm includes:
Tour of the barn and introduction to the horses
One hour of fun-filled ‘horsing around’
Learning the basics (lots of stop and go at a walk)
Riding in the arena (spotters are available)
Horseback Games (eg. Mary Says, Basketball,
Red Light/Green Light)
Birthday child only will receive one free 4M's gift certificate for a future riding lesson
After the class, you are welcome to use our covered picnic pavilion for your party. Feel free to bring your food, paperware and party decorations. Please be aware that horses can be frightened by balloons and loud noises.

5 Minimum/15 Maximum
(For groups we set up fun stations so that each child will have a hands-on experience with the horses.)
What You Need To Know:
◊ Everyone must wear a riding helmet (regardless of age). We have a selection available or you can bring your own bicycle riding helmet.
◊ Long pants are necessary when riding (no shorts).
◊ Footwear with a heel is required (boots work best).
◊ 4M’s older riders act as ‘spotters’ for new riders and are available throughout the party to assist and answer questions.
◊ There is a porta-potty on premise and hand sanitizer available for your use after playing with the horses.

4M's Farm is a GSA approved Western Pleasure riding facility located in the Capital District area, just 20 minutes south of Albany. Earn your Horse Fan or Horse Rider Patches while having fun!

We have a 100’ x 200’ outdoor, sand-based riding arena, where most of the activities occur - including fun games on horseback! All participants will: be familiarized with their horse; learn round pen work or the basics of cart driving; be horseback riding* before they leave!
*Parents must complete a 4Ms Farm Release Form so the scout may participate.
$30 per scout Groups 15+: $25 per scout
Classes last 1˝ hours. Troops may bring snacks to enjoy at our pavilion area after class.
